The Mariners are currently ranked second in the American League (AL) West and third overall in the AL. Despite the long odds, the Rangers pulled off the win with a 7-4 victory at home.

“We had a great turn out, and it was the perfect way to end the summer,” said co-founder Justin Hernandez. “We hope all of our scholarship recipients have an awesome fall and that they all work hard to accomplish their goals for the semester.”

Since 2009, IP has awarded 110 scholarships to local high school students totaling more than $210,000. The organization’s Advisory Board consists of junior and senior level members who share a common belief in education and who provide strategic and financial support to IP. Members are eligible to participate in program committees, sponsored outings and networking events, as well as attend the organization’s semiannual speaker series, which features private talks by accomplished professionals.
