IP Receives $15K in Grants
Impossible Possibilities (IP) received $15,000 in grants from the Alcon Foundation ($10,000) and Atmos Energy ($5,000).
IP will use the funds for general support and to fund its annual Scholarship Program, which awards $2,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Since 2009, IP has awarded 100 scholarships to local students totaling more than $185,000.
The Alcon Foundation awards grants to qualified, U.S.-based tax-exempt public 501(c)(3) charities that provide high-quality programs and services, well-defined goals, a program commitment to maximizing available resources, and a reputation for meeting objectives and reporting measured results.
Atmos Energy Corporation, an S&P 500 company headquartered in Dallas, is the country’s largest natural gas-only distributer. In partnership with hundreds of organizations, Atmos Energy’s Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities outreach benefits school districts, nonprofits, after school programs, and food banks through everything from backpacks and laptops to nutritious breakfasts to books that help early childhood learners read on level by third grade
