IP Awards 100th College Scholarship
Impossible Possibilities (IP) has awarded 12 new scholarships to students who will represent the organization’s 2021 Scholarship Class.
Since 2009, IP has awarded scholarships to 100 students totaling more than $185,000. IP received 150 scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Traditional in-person finalist interviews were replaced with online Zoom interviews due to ongoing Covid-19 prevention measures.
“This is our largest class since we started the scholarship program in 2009,” co-founder Joshua Hernandez said. “The students are a diverse group with a wide range of passions, including STEM fields, medicine, meteorology and music. They have the potential to make a great impact on their communities, and we’re excited to have them represent our organization.”
