IP Names 2020 Scholarship Class
Impossible Possibilities (IP) has awarded seven new scholarships to students who will represent the organization’s 2020 Scholarship Class.
Since 2009, IP has awarded scholarships to 87 students totaling more than $165,000. IP received 175 scholarship applications from graduating high school seniors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Traditional in-person finalist interviews were replaced with online Zoom interviews due to ongoing Covid-19 prevention measures.
“Student interview have always been an important piece of the scholarship selection process for our organization,” Board member Johnathan Baker said. “The interviews give us the opportunity to learn more about the students and establish long-term relationships, and this is what differentiates us from other organizations and helps us continue to build a strong network.”
