The first event was held on Feb. 23, 2019, at Pinstripes Bowling in Fort Worth, and the second on April 27, 2019, at TCU’s Lupton Stadium for a baseball game between the Baylor Bears and Horned Frogs. Both events were sponsored by Texas Capital Bank.

“Our goal with the Advisory Board has always been to develop relationships and build a strong community. We're now inviting our former scholarship recipients to participate as well, and we think hosting these events will promote networking opportunities for the students to interact with the Advisory Board members who support them financially,” said Vice President Justin Hernandez.

The AB is a group of young professionals who support the organization financially and share a common belief in education. Members are eligible to participate in program committees, networking events and speaker series talks given by accomplished professionals.
