Impossible Possibilities 2017 Scholarship Presentation
Impossible Possibilities (IP) hosted its annual Scholarship Presentation on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
IP celebrated its 10th year anniversary as an organization by awarding seven new scholarships to local high schools students. Since 2009, IP has awarded 57 scholarships totaling more than $100,000.
Co-founders Joshua and Justin Hernandez provided a 10-year recap and also shared the future vision of the organization, including the development of an automated platform that will connect its scholarship recipients based on mutual interests.
The “Scholarship Network” will also connect scholarship recipients with members of the organization’s Advisory Board (AB), allowing for potential mentorship, internship, and employment opportunities. The AB consists of junior and senior level members who share a common belief in education and who provide strategic and financial support.
“It’s amazing to think of where this organization began compared to where it is now,” said Justin Hernandez. “We want to thank everyone who has played a part in the success of Impossible Possibilities through the years. We wouldn't be here without your support.”
